How the We Love Green Festival sets a new trend for festivals

The festival is the French version of Coachella or Glastonbury.

The French « organic and trendy » festival has gained popularity over the past few years, making it the place to be for both the artists and the public.

Thanks to its diverse line-up, the Bois de Vincennes near Paris lit up on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2018. This year’s exquisite line-up included the likes of Björk, Migos, Jamie XX,  Orelsan, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Nina Kravitz and Tyler, The Creator. Newcomers were also presented and shined on stage: Ibeyi, Lomepal, Jorja Smith, Moha La Squale, Myth Syzer.

Every year, We Love Green invites wild and exciting artists who draw the music of our time. An eclectic program that crosses the bridges between indie and electro. But above all, a great desire for diversity in all forms of hip-hop.

Moreover, the festival prides itself to be completely environmentally friendly, from the bathrooms to the « cashless » concept, the recycling bins and no plastic. The food was as diverse as the line-up, with vegan options everywhere. Grass and flags set a sort of country side vibe, coupled with a « glamping » vibe that reminds us of Glastonbury.

The festival clearly follows the Anglo-Saxons model. It is as trendy but organic, affordable and a bit less well-known.

However, we would expect it to become more successful over the next few years.
